Aloha !

The Aloha State (1959) also known as the Pineapple State, Youngest State, "5-0", and The Paradise of the Pacific.  It is fitting that America's 50th state bears the name of its largest and most diverse island: Hawaii.

With more than twice the land mass of all other Hawaiian Islands combined, Hawaii's "Big Island" nickname fits perfectly. In fact, at 4,028 square miles in size, the Big Island is larger than the state of Connecticut. Hawaii is the youngest island in the chain (just 35 million years old) and the southernmost point in the United States is on this island.

This section of our website is designed to give an informative view of our Big Island and some of the places well worth driving to. Hawaii is a wondrous and beautiful place, use this section as a guide to helping you explore and enjoy what the Island has to offer.  See ALL of the Big Island, and don't forget your sunscreen!

We hope you enjoy this section of our website and Mahalo for your time.  Click on any map below to see some of the sites on that part of the Big Island.
